The CR1406 plate is a plate designed to accomodate larger culture volumes & replace 125ml flasks, offering a efficient solution that provides better mixing and is easier to handle. It is typically used in combination with covers CR1206/CR1206a and clamp CR1801h.
Other characteristics of the plates:
- Single use (non-autoclavable)
- Square wells of 34x34 mm, 80 mm deep, which are slightly rounded to prevent foaming
- Volume per well: 82 ml
- Typical shaking conditions: 180 rpm/50 mm, or 225 rpm/25 mm
- Packed in boxes of 4, individually wrapped/sealed in polyethylene foil
Note: plates can also be bought with barcodes: individually wrapped (CR1406b) or wrapped per 4 (CR1406b4)
